Exciting Sales Management Leader opportunity at a leading credit rating agency
Your Company:
We are partnering with a market leader in credit rating to find an exceptional candidate for the position of Director, Consumer Market. This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious organisation and drive revenue growth for the HK region.
Your Role:
As the Director, Consumer Market, you will be responsible for leading the general management of the consumer/retail business for the HK region. Your key duties will include:
- Managing the profit and loss (P&L) of the consumer/retail business.
- Setting and measuring goals for operational effectiveness, with a focus on driving revenue growth and improving profitability.
- Building alliances with external partners to expand the business.

Additionally, you will manage the department budget, develop scopes and budgets, and provide cost forecasts for assigned areas. You will make recommendations for the most effective use of the budget and advise clients on a committed and available budget. Furthermore, you will formulate the overall direction of customer acquisition and retention strategies, including customer contact strategy to increase revenue, database segmentation, and creative strategy and reporting. You will conceptualise and manage the production of all advertising for the acquisition of new customers and business clients.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 10+ years of demonstrated management experience in the Fintech/Retail Banking/Insurance industry with P&L responsibility.
- The ability to influence stakeholders of various levels to obtain results.
- Understanding of web analytics and the ability to analyse performance using ROI metrics.
- A sales-driven mindset with a proven track record in growing business from online/interactive channels and delivering positive consumer experiences.
- Retail banking experience is highly preferred
- Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese) and English
