• A global ibank is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Associate to join their dynamic team. As a vital member of the small, high-performing team, you will play a crucial role in both tax advisory and compliance functions.

Your new role

• Lead the preparation and review of tax computations and returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations, focusing on HK, SG and India.
• Provide expert tax advisory services to the bank, ensuring innovative solutions are applied to complex tax matters.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver strategic tax planning initiatives.
• Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and assess the impact on the bank’s operations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of tax policies and procedures.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and development.

What you'll need to succeed

• A minimum of 6 years of working experience in a corporate tax compliance and/or advisory role in the Financial Services industry.
• Big4 Tax Advisory or Banking Background is a must.
• Strong understanding of international tax concepts, including HK, SG and India.
• Proven track record of managing complex tax projects and delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain tax matters to non-specialists.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively in a team.
