Your new role

• Design, implement, and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses and recommend solutions.
• Respond to security incidents and breaches, conducting forensic analysis and reporting findings
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all systems and applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and incident response.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role

• Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and network security

• Experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and SIEM systems

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to security
