A global top-tier insurer is looking for a director level candidate to lead the third-party risk management team.

Your new role

• Collaborate with cross-functional regional teams to implement third-party risk management policies and operating guidelines.

• Act as the first line risk key person and work closely with second line risk teams to enhance the execution of the TPRM program.

• Support the Operation function in establishing a sustainable structure, resources, and capabilities.

• Act as the Asia TPRM representative to liaise with external counterparts and participate in the TPRM forums.

• Oversee policy compliance, including monitoring, remediation of non-compliances, and reporting progress on material gaps and issue resolution. Present findings at senior management meetings.

• Develop procedures and deliver training to APAC regions to support the TPRM program’s development.

What you'll need to succeed

• University degree with 10 to 15+ years of experience in operations, risk management, and procurement within financial institutions.
• Sound knowledge of third-party risk management with the ability to monitor and examine the risk.
• Experience working in the insurance industry with an understanding of life insurance is a plus.
• Deep understanding of the cultural and business environment across Asian Countries.
• Hands-on experience in process design and implementation.
• Strong communication skills and relationship building with cross-function business areas.
