Our client is a leading global Logistics Solutions and Service Provider. They are providing express 3PL and last mile service. Now they are looking for an experienced global last mile and carrier, to support their expansion of destinations across the APAC+ ME and Americans. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with carriers, develop innovative strategies to enhance trade lane operations, and leverage data-driven insights to optimise performance.
Your new role
- Partner with our Local Product Development team to spearhead destination expansion initiatives
- Cultivate robust carrier relationships, ensuring seamless capacity, competitive rates, and adherence to schedules and service levels
- Devise and implement strategic plans to maximise the benefits of our trade lanes, delivering cost savings and service improvements
- Utilise advanced data analytics to closely monitor trade lane performance, proactively identifying opportunities for enhancement
- Oversee trade lane capacity, optimise routing and schedules to minimise transit times and costs
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making
- Leverage market intelligence to adapt our operations in response to evolving market conditions
- Proactively manage potential risks, collaborating with the Product Developer and Program Manager to implement effective mitigation strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including central, sales, business development, customer service, finance, and operations to ensure contractual compliance and operational excellence
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade lanes logistics, supply chain management
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
- Ideally, for a candidate who has experience on 3PL, e-commerce, last mile experience
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently, hands-on, and flexible as part of a team
- A proactive, open-minded, and results-oriented mindset with a strong desire to win
- Experience of working with a multicultural international team is mandatory.
- Good command of both spoken and written English
