The Company

A renowned conglomerate with diversified business interests in various industries is seeking an additional corporate governance/compliance trained professional to join its established group level compliance team in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager - Compliance in Hong Kong, the responsibilities will include:

• Enhancing compliance monitoring and rectification systems
• Implementing new operational mechanism for internal compliance management
• Improvement of compliance regulation system
• Putting together annual compliance reports
• Providing ad-hoc support to the company secretarial department on corporate governance-related matters
• Regularly working with compliance and company secretarial teams in the group's subsidiaries with oversight works

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master's degree in law or finance

• Prior exposures in legal, compliance, risk management or corporate governance

• Professional qualifications in either legal, compliance, risk management or company secretary

• Familiar with setting up/enhancement of internal compliance systems

• Experiences working in PRC organisations, ideally SOEs

• Literacy in reading and writing Chinese and fluency in Mandarin is also required.
