My client is seeking a Payroll Officer to handle payroll processing for contractors in 3 regions.

Your new role

  • Handle payroll processing for employees and contractors in Australia, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom

  • Work closely with various departments and stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing

  • Participate in audits and inspections related to payroll

  • Manage the company-wide payroll calendar

  • Prepare and submit payroll tax returns, IIT filings, and other necessary documents

  • Assist in reconciling payroll accounts and preparing journal entries

  • Verify employee data with the HR Manager

  • Calculate salaries, bonuses, and benefits for employees in the AU, HK, and UK

  • Process terminations and final payments

  • Manage pension scheme arrangements

  • Thorough understanding of international payroll regulations

  • Adaptability to evolving international payroll laws

  • Commit to a long-term work schedule of 2 or 3 days per week
