Data Architect
Our Client, a Global Top Tier Manufacturing company, is now looking for a high calibre DATA ARCHITECT to join the team and cope with the data transformation programme. You will be expected to report to the General Manager of IT and work with different BUs and stakeholders to consolidate the requirements to design and build a highly sophisticated data infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of a cloud-based data hub using Azure services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to align architecture with business needs, focusing on governance, security, and performance.
  • Define data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Dataflows.
  • Optimise data storage architecture with best practices for processing and transformation.
  • Design data models for reporting and analytics, including star schemas and dimensional models.
  • Ensure support for real-time analytics and advanced reporting in Power BI.
  • Develop and manage a data governance framework, ensuring compliance with regulations and robust security controls.
  • Design and deliver interactive dashboards using Power BI or other tools.
  • Address platform improvements, focusing on query performance, data consistency, and integration.
  • Support UAT, deployment, and production phases for smooth transitions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor team members.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in data architecture or data warehousing.
  • Expertise in Azure Cloud Services (Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, etc.).
  • Experience with BI solutions using Power BI.
  • Proficiency in data modelling, ETL processes, governance, and security practices.
  • Experience with external vendors and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and security best practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (including Mandarin).
