Your new company

  • The most sizeable international investment bank is now looking for a new and talented L3 Data Network Operation Consultant to join their IT team.

Your new role

  • You will be responsible for deployment and operations and work on initiatives aimed at enhancing network service stability.

What you'll need to do

  • Effectively handle technical escalations and independently offer fixes for network issues with significant impact.
  • Supporting global data infrastructure, including incidents, problems, and change management
  • Using tools and automation to proactively monitor and ensure latency compliance and promptly address any issues
  • Competently carry out root-cause analysis for significant issues and guide troubleshooting to a solution
What you'll require to succeed

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Center network operation or data infrastructure within financial institutions or technology vendors etc
  • Practical experience with data networks; proficient troubleshooting abilities with LAN switching and IP routing; a thorough understanding of data networking concepts and the particular technologies needed to maintain and operate high-speed networks
  • Proficiency in decoding packet capture and detecting network and application problems
  • Knowledgeable with hardware, including F5 Big, IP Load Balancers, Arista switches, Nortel/BNT switches, Cisco switches and routers, Juniper switches and routers, and Adva and Ciena DWDM
  • A good team player and proficient in English is a must
