Your new company
We are seeking an Assistant Business Development Manager to join our client's Data Centre team. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for managing and growing our key client accounts, as well as generating new business opportunities.
Your new role
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service
- Identify new business opportunities and actively prospect for new clients within your assigned territory
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to both new and existing clients
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals while ensuring profitability
- Collaborate with the wider sales and technical teams to provide comprehensive solutions for clients
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity and client feedback to develop effective sales strategies
- Accurately forecast sales and maintain detailed records of all client interactions
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an account management or sales role, preferably within the data centre construction or SI industry
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building long-term client relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with clients at all levels
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
