• An expanding Chinese Private Bank is looking for a Business Strategy Manager to provide support to the head of Business. As a Business Strategy Manager, you will be instrumental in providing support in shaping the strategic direction of the private banking division. You will provide direct support to the Head of Private Banking, ensuring the implementation of strategic initiatives and contributing to the overall growth and success of the bank.

Your new role

• Formulate financial targets and strategies, articulated through Profit & Loss (P&L) forecasts, emphasising revenue enhancement and profitability.
• Coordinate with various departments, especially the frontline, to ensure the successful implementation of strategic plans.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute comprehensive business strategies.
• Craft and actualise comprehensive business blueprints and methodologies to ensure the fulfilment of organisational objectives.
• Keep abreast of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer insights and formulate short, medium, and long term business plans and development strategies for the bank and branches.
• Gather and analyse both market and company-specific data, generating reports and presentations to track and communicate the progress of business strategies.
• Ensure strict compliance with all internal policies and procedures, and all regulatory requirements;
• Engage on special projects and miscellaneous duties as delegated by management.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate planning, strategy, or a related role within the Banking and FS industry, ideally in the Private Banking area.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in financial modelling.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in both written and spoken Chinese and English.
