My client is a stable bank in Hong Kong, committed to providing exceptional banking services to our clients. They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Accounting to join their dynamic team.

Job Description:
As the Head of Accounting, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions within the bank. This includes financial reporting, account payable, account control, tax. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the accounting department, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Oversee financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Maintain account control, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Oversee tax compliance and planning, ensuring adherence to local and international tax regulations.
  • Manage financial procurement processes, ensuring cost-effective and efficient procurement of goods and services.
  • Oversee product control, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting of financial products.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives and financial goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of banking experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within the banking industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounts payable, account control, tax, financial procurement, and product control.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
