Product Design and Sourcing Manager

A leading firm is seeking a talented Product Design and Sourcing Manager to join their dynamic team in Hong Kong. This role involves developing consumer goods across multiple brands and product categories, including apparel, accessories, home decor, and textiles. You will oversee the entire supply chain process, from conception to product manufacturing, ensuring design, marketing materials, and financial targets are met.
Your Role
- Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities.
- Make design decisions that balance aesthetics, functionality, and production efficiency.
- Establish relationships with potential manufacturers in Europe to ensure the highest quality products.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.
- Manage the sourcing process from initial request to final delivery, including sample approvals and quality control.
- Ensure trade compliance with US regulations.
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and copywriters to create marketing materials.
- Interact daily with a network of over 100 professionals, including entrepreneurs, craftspeople, designers, quality control specialists, logistics experts, and regulatory advisors.
What You'll Need to Succeed
We are looking for a candidate with a keen eye for branding and visual aesthetics. You should be highly intelligent and resourceful, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English is required.
