Our client is a premium wine distributor known for its exceptional portfolio and commitment to quality. They are seeking a talented Private Sales Manager to join their Hong Kong operations, focusing on delivering outstanding sales strategies and building strong client relationships within the luxury market.
Your Role
As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering sales and business development strategies that align with revenue and growth targets. You will advise clients on their wine collections to help them achieve their personal objectives and onboard new clients through intermediary relationships, events, and marketing activities. Additionally, you will develop a robust regional referral network to identify key prospects globally and manage a base of ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) from Hong Kong and China. Your leadership will be crucial in creating a strong vision and team to enhance the company's market share in a competitive environment.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- A demonstrated track record in driving growth and building high-performing teams.
- WSET Level 3 Award in Wine and Spirits is a plus
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in constant communication with clients in Hong Kong and China, both in-person and virtually.
- Fluency in English; Cantonese/Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
- Competent/expert skills in project management, computer processing, marketing tools, and CRM systems.
- A degree in Business Management.
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in sales and new business development within the relevant industry.
