My client is a leading provider of general insurance products, committed to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to its clients. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analyst to join the Portfolio Analytics team.

Your new role

As a Senior Analyst in Portfolio Analytics, you will play a crucial role in analysing and optimising our general insurance portfolio. You will leverage your strong product knowledge and analytical skills to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making and enhance the product offerings. Your main responsibilities and tasks are:

• Conduct detailed analysis of portfolio performance and trends.
• Develop and maintain complex Excel models to support portfolio management.
• Identify opportunities for portfolio optimisation and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data.
• Prepare and present analytical reports to senior management.
• Support the development of new insurance products and pricing strategies.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in the insurance sector, supporting GI product portfolio analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualisation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
