This prestigious MNC Bank is looking for a Senior Front-End Developer with expertise and experience in ReactJS and Front-End Implementation experience to join its dynamic business here in Hong Kong. The company also possesses the ability to provide you with the resources and training to both grow and succeed within the role while also providing possible avenues for further career development.

Your new role

• Developing and implementing highly-responsive user interface components
• Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
• Contributing to the development of microservices
• Prototype and/or redesign features.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design and architecture reviews.
• Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
• Mentoring new members of the development team.
• Documenting applications changes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript.
• Strong proficiency in Data Structures and Problem-Solving
• Expertise with modern JS libraries/frameworks (preferably React JS)
• Building advanced responsive layouts.
• Experience and expertise in UI architecture, component/framework design.
• Experience with browser-based debugging
• Excellent problem-solving ability and desire to learn new technologies and platforms.
• Solid experience on REST APIs, JSON, Test Driven Development (TDD) and standards.
• Familiar with HTTP protocol; familiar with performance tuning of Web Server, concurrency handling, and caching mechanisms
• Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Understanding and Experience with basic DevOps tooling, Git workflow and CI/CD systems
• Experience with testing frameworks like Selenium and Playwright would be an advantage.
• Experience with Docker is an advantage.
• Good understanding of backend systems and microservices is an advantage.
